A GAS leak from a faulty street light in Malvern triggered an emergency response as crews isolated the source.
The incident, involving a defective street light, happened in Abbey Road in Malvern last night.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A crew from Malvern Fire Station was called to a gas leak in Abbey Road, Malvern at 7.17pm on June 6.
"A gas leak from a defected street light saw the gas isolated by fire service personnel. The incident was marked as pending closure at 7.40pm."
