Residents of Fort Royal are concerned at a lack of litter picking in the area.

Councillor Atif Sadiq raised the concerns of residents during an Environment committee meeting on Tuesday (June 4).

The Labour councillor said a council worker used to be seen regularly cleaning up streets in the area.

Head of city services Sandra Green said she would look into whether the operative has moved to another part of Worcester and get an answer to Cllr Sadiq away from the committee.

She said Cllr Jabba Riaz, who also represents the Fort Royal ward, had also raised the same issue.
