DON'T you just hate sitting on a jam-packed beach with barely enough room to spread your legs out?
Landlocked Worcester is quite a way from the beach - with the nearest being the very popular and busy Weston-super-Mare.
But, The Telegraph has recently named the best-kept secret beaches for people to go to avoid the crowds and we have located the nearest one to Worcester.
Rhossili Beach in Gower has been praised by The Telegraph for having phenomenal views and providing visitors with their own private sandy cove for the day.
The beach which is nestled in South Wales and is just over two and a half hours away from the city.
A spokesperson for The Telegraph said: "Rhossili beach in Gower is phenomenal in scale and views, but thanks to its multiple awards is no longer a secret.
"Fall Bay, on the other hand, remains off the tourist trail, thanks to the fact that it is quite tricky to reach, including some light scrambling to the bottom.
"If you are up to the challenge, though, you’ll be rewarded with your own private sandy cove for the day."
The Telegraph also recommended accommodation in case visitors would like to book a staycation.
It added: "Pitton Cross Caravan Park is one of the closest places to stay and offers pitches for caravans or tents."
