The economic impact of Worcester’s museums was worth more than £3 million in the past 12 months.
Documents going before the county and city councils’ Joint Museums Committee show the amount that visitors to the city spend on things like parking, food, drink and accommodation during their trip.
Council officers say this has increased significantly in recent years, from £2.4m last year to more than £3m.
Footfall in the city centre is up to 90 per cent of the pre-Covid volume, above the national average.
