A Worcester resident has been given permission to turn their garage into an office and beauty treatment room.

The house is at the end of Ashdown Close, a cul-de-sac off Malvern Road in Lower Wick.

According to planning documents the applicant wants to convert the front section of the garage into a workspace, replacing the garage door with a glazed door and a new window.

No additional staff will be employed and planning officers felt there would be no detrimental impact on neighbouring properties.

In response to a letter of concern from a neighbour, amended plans were submitted to the council including a parking space at the front of the property and cycle parking in the back garden.
