A SUPERMARKET is to unveil its "significant" refurbishment with a dance performance.
Waitrose is delighted to finally be unveiling the refurbishment of its Droitwich branch on Saltway this week.
The team has been busy installing a new sushi bar and meat counter and improving the bakery and wine areas.
The launch will take place this Friday (June 8) at 4pm with a dance performance by children from Droitwich Spa High School.
To celebrate the launch, the store will also be offering sushi samplings and will be joined by some local suppliers for other food tastings throughout the day.
Nathan Willmott Miller, Waitrose's team manager, said: "Sushi Daily has already been a huge success in many of our other shops, so we're delighted to be bringing this new counter to customers at Droitwich.
"It will offer sushi freshly prepared in-store, alongside other improvements to our bakery and wine areas and a new meat counter, showing how we're investing in our services in-branch to ensure we continue to give our customers a fantastic shopping experience."
The sushi counter will offer sashimi, veggie bites, and made-to-order platters freshly prepared in-store by Waitrose Chefs.
The meat counter will include a dry-aged beef cabinet.
