A WILD bird who was trapped behind a car glovebox in Fernhill Heath was rescued by a fire crew.
The crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 5.54pm on Saturday, June 1 to rescue the small bird from Perrycroft Close.
Using small tools, the wild bird was rescued uninjured from behind the glovebox of a car.
There were no casualties and no other emergency services were needed.
At 6.23pm, the incident was marked as pending closure by the fire crew.
