A man has died following a crash between a motorbike and a van in Bewdley.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said they were called to the A456, near to the junction with Heightington Road in Ribbesford, at 5.36pm yesterday (Sunday, June 2).
Two ambulances, two paramedic officers and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were sent to the scene.
West Mercia Police also attended the collision and closed the road between Blackstone and Wharton Park Golf Club whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival we discovered the motorcyclist, a man, in a critical condition.
"Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support and specialist trauma care at the roadside. However, despite their best efforts, it sadly became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
"The driver of the van was assessed and discharged without needing to be taken to hospital."
