THE POPULAR splash pad in a city park is closed because of a fault.
The water feature in Gheluvelt Park, Barbourne is out of action today (Friday) with repair work due to get underway.
UPDATE: The splash pad has now reopened.
It will be disappointing news for youngsters who are currently on half term as temperatures in Worcester are set to hit 18C.
A spokesperson for Worcester City Council said: "We're sorry to report that the Splashpad in Gheluvelt Park is currently out of action because of a fault.
"We are working to get it repaired as quickly as possible.
"Apologies for the inconvenience."
