A HUGE hole has been dug in a petrol station forecourt as part of ongoing improvement work at the filling station.
Tesco Superstore in Mill Wood Drive, Warndon Villages, Worcester closed its petrol filling station on Tuesday, May 7 while it undergoes 'improvements' with work now well underway.
The latest photos show a large hole has been dug in the centre of the forecourt where the fuel tanks are stored. The canopy has already been removed but the shop itself is still there.
The petrol station will remain closed until August and is now behind a chainlink fence.

A Tesco spokesperson said: “The petrol filling station at our Worcester Warndon Superstore will be temporarily closed for refurbishment from Tuesday, May 7 until August.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and look forward to welcoming customers back after the works are completed.”
The nearest Tesco petrol station after the closure will be the one in St Peters Drive.
