New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Malvern Hills’s establishments.
Inspections carried out by the Food Standards Agency took place between May 9 and May 16.
The inspection covered a wide range of areas that included ratings for hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and management of food safety.
The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Coffee Wolf at 4 High Street, Upton Upon Severn, Worcestershire; rated on May 16
• Rated 5: Fresh Food Cafe At Strensham Northbound MSA at M5 Strensham Services (Northbound), Strensham, Worcester, Worcestershire; rated on May 9
And two ratings have been handed to takeaways:
• Rated 5: Chozen Noodle At Road Chef North at M5 Strensham Services ( Northbound), Strensham, Worcester, Worcestershire; rated on May 9
• Rated 5: McDonalds At Road Chef North at M5 Strensham Services (Northbound), Strensham, Worcester, Worcestershire; rated on May 9.
All of these establishments scored an overall food hygiene rating of five stars - the highest mark that can be handed out by the Food Standards Agency.
