A POPULAR supermarket in Droitwich is set to finally reopen after a major refurbishment.
Aldi on Kidderminster Road will officially reopen on May 30 after undergoing a transformation to become more sustainable.
The store has upgraded its fridge doors, increased its chiller space, and added an additional room for Specialbuys.
There has also been a redesign of the Health and Beauty and Bakery sections to make it look more modern.
Store Manager Daniel Watson said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we are really looking forward to welcoming back some familiar faces as well as new customers and supplying our local community with the everyday amazing products we have available.”
The store in Droitwich hires 31 employees and will offer a range of festival essentials during re-opening week to get people ready for summer.
The refurbishment comes after the store installed several self-checkouts earlier this year.
The Kidderminster Road store closed for refurbishment on May 25.
