HAPPY Staffie Rescue is reminding people of all their "lovable mutts" in need of new homes as part of National Dog Rescue Day.
The Kidderminster dog rescue charity has shared profiles of seven dogs looking for new owners and a loving home.
National Rescue Dog Day takes place annually on May 20 and brings attention to dogs in need of a second chance.
People can find out more about the dogs up for adoption on the Happy Staffie Rescue website.
Polo has been described as "bright, happy and playful." He arrived at Happy Staffie Rescue as a stray on May 16.
Although he is microchipped, it doesn't show his date of birth and staff are estimating his age to be between four and five years.
Polo is a white Staffie, with very fine, short hair.
Tizer is an eight-year-old staffie who arrived as a stray on May 16.
He's been described as a "lovely, friendly, excited little staffie who may be a little nervous of sudden movements."
Casper is also an eight-year-old who arrived for rehoming at the centre on May 15.
He is a "very friendly and happy staffie boy, loves having a fuss, human company, and being next to you on the sofa".
Zoe is a six-year-old staffie or staffie-cross who arrived for rehoming at the centre on April 13.
She has been described as a "bubbly, bouncy, happy girl, very friendly and affectionate and loves a gentle fuss on the sofa with you."
Percy arrived for rehoming back in March this year and is only a year old.
Happy Staffie says: "As a young dog Percy would suit an experienced owner who will give Percy the training he needs.
"He needs a confident owner, but he is very treat orientated and learns very quickly".
Diesel is just over seven years old and is a small-medium staff-cross.
The "very friendly" dog arrived in April this year.
Happy Staffie Rescue says she is a "very sweet, friendly, easy to handle dog, leaner and slightly smaller than most dogs we get in.
"Bouncy at times but just happy to be around people".
Blake is a seven-year-old crossbreed who arrived for rehoming in February.
The team at Happy Staffie said: "Blake is an interesting character, who we had in our care way back in 2022.
"He has been with his last owner for just over a year but unfortunately has had to come back to us".
