National Trust visitors will have the chance to climb to new heights when one of its new Scaffold Viewing Platform opens this May half-term.

The platform, at Coughton Court near Alcester, is part of a £3.3 million refurbishment project, 'Through the Roof: FuturepROOFing Coughton Court', which has been ongoing throughout the year.

Visitors will don high-visibility jackets and hard hats before ascending 100 steps to survey views of the estate and surrounding countryside from the vantage point.

All attendees must wear compulsory protective equipment provided for the climb.
