A 'very aggressive' man who has attacked police officers has been banned from parts of Worcester and two other county towns and is not allowed to approach children.
Lee Taylor, 34, is now in prison but when he gets out he will be banned from Worcester Jobcentre, the Crown pub in Broad Street and Merkur Slots in The Cross, both in the city centre, to stop him causing trouble.
A five year criminal behaviour order (CBO) was granted on May 16 to manage the bad behaviour of Taylor of no fixed abode who has also caused problems in Kidderminster and Tenbury Wells.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Taylor has caused significant harm to the communities of Tenbury Wells, Worcester city centre and parts of Kidderminster.
"He is currently serving a prison sentence for a number of offences including several assaults on police, criminal damage, and possession of cannabis.
"The CBO application was made following numerous reports describing concerning behaviour displayed by Taylor, as well as incidents where he has been aggressive and intimidating towards members of the public, shops, young people in parks and caused considerable disorder at the Job Centre in Worcester. He's a very aggressive individual, causing many members of the community to be extremely fearful of him."
