THERE was lots of excitement last Friday when the Northern Lights were extremely visible in the night sky.
Last Friday, many people shared incredible pictures of the weather phenomenon aurora borealis after it was visible thanks to an extreme geomagnetic storm.
The clear evening meant it was visible across the UK with excited stargazers sharing their pictures of the northern lights in Worcester.
Will we be able to see Northern Lights this Friday?
Unfortunately, there is no significant activity expected in the UK this evening according to AuroraWatch UK.
The service predicts when it is likely people will be able to see the northern lights.
And, of course, that also depends on the weather and cloud coverage.
Tonight, Worcester is set to have areas of low cloud, according to The Met Office.
Though there is a slight spike in activity after midnight, it is unlikely people will be able to see the northern lights.
