Planners have turned down a proposal for a two-storey extension at a semi-detached house in Lower Wick.
Applicants Design Bank Studios had wanted to build at the side and back of the three-bedroom home in Bromwich Road.
But Worcester City Council, taking the advice of Highways officers, said the development would result in the loss of parking spaces on the driveway, which could lead to cars being parked on the busy main road.
“The proposal would be unacceptable on the grounds of highways safety,” planners said in their report.
