Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have expanded their programme of flights and city breaks to Norway from Birmingham Airport.
Beginning on April 24, this is the first time Jet2.com has operated flights to Bergen in 15 years.
Brand new flight routes have been added for some UK airports - Bristol, Edinburgh and London Stansted – while others have expanded their programmes, including Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.
The airline and city breaks operator have also brought forward the Bergen programme to April 10, 2025 ahead of the Easter holiday season.
6 tips for cheaper family holidays
With 31 departures to Bergen on sale in total for 2025, this means that seat capacity has more than doubled.
Bergen gives travellers access to stunning Fjords such as Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord and the city itself boasts spectacular mountains which are wrapped around a picturesque harbour lined with a variety of fashionable restaurants and bars, Jet2.com explains.
This historic harbour district, Bryggen, is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List and provides visitors with one of the world's most significant examples of the history and culture of a particular medieval settlement.
The expansion of the Bergen flight programme is in response to demand from customers and independent travel agents who are booking discovery-based experience holidays.
