WORRIED passersby called emergency services because they were concerned for the safety of a woman.
Police and ambulance were called to Hylton Road in Worcester and the woman, who is in her 20s, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called by police colleagues to concern for a patient’s welfare at the junction of Hylton Road and Tybridge Street in Worcester at around 11.30am.
"An ambulance arrived on scene and assessed a woman before conveying her to Worcester Royal Hospital."
A police spokesperson said: "We were called to a concern of safety of a woman in her 20s on Hylton Road at around 11.20am today (14 May). She was taken to hospital."
