TWO fire engines were called to a kitchen fire at a home in Worcester. 

The crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service attended the fire on May Avenue in Worcester yesterday (May 13). 

A chip pan caught fire and needed to be extinguished by crews. 

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two crews from Worcester Fire Station were called at 6.15pm on May 13 to a house fire on May Avenue, Worcester. 

"A chip pan in a kitchen was on fire.

"The fire was extinguished using a hosereel jet and the chip pan was removed from the property.

"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended."
