A PARAGLIDER was airlifted to hospital after falling from height.
The man had fallen from a height on the Malvern Hills near Jubilee Drive with an air ambulance landing on the hills.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a paraglider who had fallen from a height near Jubilee Drive at 2.39pm on Saturday.
"One ambulance, two paramedic officers, the Trust’s Hazardous Area Response Team and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.
"On arrival, we discovered one patient, a man, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being airlifted to Worcestershire Royal Hospital."
An eyewitness shared several pictures showing paramedics tending to an injured person on the hills alongside the helicopter.
A small group of people can be seen gathered at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to the Malvern Hills at around 2.50pm on Saturday to assist other emergency services in reaching a person injured in a paragliding incident.
"The incident is not being treated as a crime."
On the same day, people reported seeing multiple police cars, ambulances and response vehicles on Jubilee Drive.
It is not known if the two incidents are linked.
