CLOSED: Worcester Bridge closes after police incident
WORCESTER Bridge was closed this morning due to a police incident.
West Mercia Police officers closed off the main bridge across the city at 9.45am - with it reopening an hour later.
A police spokesperson said: "Please be aware that due to a police incident, there is a road closure in place on Worcester City Bridge, Bridge Street.
"This may cause increase traffic in the area. Please find an alternate route. Updates to follow."
The Bridge reopened at just after 10.30am.
