Honey

Gender – Female

Age – 8 years

Breed – Belgian Shepherd Malinois

Honey would like to live in a quiet, adult-only home in a rural location as she has a few sensitivities to loud noises and busy areas.

She can’t live with dogs but having recently started coming out of her shell around others, she’d be able to have walking friends.

Honey can’t be left at home alone for any longer than an hour each time, at least for now.

Bobby

Gender – Male

Age – 12 years

Breed – Border Collie cross

Bobby is looking for a quiet retirement home where there are no other pets and he’d like to have a secure garden to enjoy playing off-lead.

Since he’s unsure of other dogs, he’d prefer to be kept away from highly populated dog areas.

He likes to go out on walks and he’s had some walking friends but overall prefers to keep his distance.

Bobby’s new home needs to be adult-only but he can welcome younger visitors.

He has some discomfort in his hip and he’s on medication to manage this. The centre urges anyone who thinks Bobby’s hip is the only thing that would stop them adopting him to still get in touch.

Breed – Jack Russell Terrier cross

Sparky is full of character and would like to find a quiet, adult-only home where he can enjoy exploring.

He has enjoyed some walks with friendly calm dogs and he currently resides in one of Dogs Trust’s foster homes.

Sparky has a Grade 1 heart murmur but he isn’t showing any clinical signs and isn’t currently on any treatment for this.

Sam

Gender – Male

Age – 8 years

Breed – Crossbreed

Sam is looking for a quiet, adult-only home as he can sometimes get worried when meeting new people and finds children overwhelming.

He’ll need to be the only pet in his new home and he must have a secure garden as he enjoys being out in the garden much more than walks at the moment.

Sam isn’t yet sure about other dogs. He’s walked by some at the centre but he moves away if they try to interact with him.

He came into Dogs Trust’s care after his owner passed away and then was rehomed but had ongoing issues with the dogs of family and friends.

Dogs Trust said: “His adopters loved him to bits but agreed that he would be happier in a home where he won’t encounter other pooches as often.”

Milo currently has skin issues and is being treated with Apoquel – this will be discussed in full with his new owners.
