FIRE crews have extinguished a small fire that broke out in a lane in Worcester.
A fire crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 23.20pm yesterday evening (Tuesday) to a fire in the open in Offerton Lane near to Sixways Stadium.
The fire was extinguished using a hosereel jet and drag hook, with the area dampened down.
No casualties were reported, with the incident closed at 23.59pm.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 23:20 on 7 May to a fire in the open in Offerton Lane, Worcester.
"A small fire was extinguished using a hosereel jet and a drag hook.
"The area was dampened down.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 23:59."
