BUBBLE tea fans are disappointed after a city café has unexpectedly closed forcing a free drink giveaway to be cancelled
Cupp Bubble Tea in Worcester's High Street was supposed to celebrate National Boba Tea Day 2024 today (Tuesday) by handing out 100 free drinks to its customers on a first-come first-served basis.
However, an emergency maintenance issue meant the store was forced to close.
The marketing team at Cupp said Worcester residents will not miss out, though, as they are looking to reschedule their giveaway for a later date.
A spokesperson for CUPP Worcester said: "We're extremely disappointed at the last-minute change of plans.
"We'll be sure to celebrate National Boba Tea Day with the people of Worcester as soon as we can."
No date has yet been confirmed for the giveaway.
