A farm in Claines has been given permission to install 18 large storage containers - despite the objections of the parish council.
Daniel’s Farm in Vicarage Lane submitted its plans earlier this year - and Worcester City Council’s planning officers have decided the proposal is acceptable on highways grounds and would cause no adverse harm to the landscape of the area.
North Claines Parish Council had questioned the need for more self storage containers as there are already similar facilities in the area.
The parish council also raised concerns over the impact the development would have on traffic in the area, including around Claines Primary School.
