A PERSON has been found dead on the train tracks near Worcestershire.
The British Transport Police has confirmed a person was found dead on the train tracks which led to a disruption to the trains entering Shrub Hill.
Officers were called to the line near Combe Railway Station yesterday (April 28).
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the line near Combe railway station at around 9.09am yesterday (April 28) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Trains running between Oxford and Worcester were cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.
