FIRE crews have tackled a chimney fire at a property in Worcester.
The incident took place at around 5pm yesterday (Saturday) when two fire service crews were dispatched to a property on Pershore Lane.
The fire was extinguished by firefighters using special rods and a fire hose and a wood burner was removed from the property.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed there were no casualties.
A spokesperson said: "We were called to a chimney fire at a property on Pershore Lane, Worcester.
"The fire was extinguished by the fire service and they removed a wood burner from the property.
"Two fire services crews were dispatched from Worcester Fire Station.
"There were no casualties."
