A NOTTINGHAM Knocker has had a large amount of cash and property seized after going around Malvern.
PC Dave Olczak and PCSO Kevin Tudge responded to reports of a Nottingham Knocker going door to door in the Court Road area.
The man was quickly located in the area, his details were obtained and property was seized, along with a large amount of cash.
Because the man was not holding a pedlars licence he has been reported for summons.
A police spokesperson said: "It is known that Nottingham Knockers can cause alarm to the vulnerable and elderly within our community and are also known to become aggressive on the doorstep.
"We would like to thank members of the public for calling the Police, which enabled us to act in a timely manner as this helps us deter Nottingham Knockers from coming to Malvern."
