A CONVENIENCE store is set to open a temporary pop-up store while it undergoes a refurbishment.
The Co-op in Ombersley Road will temporarily close while it undergoes a major refurbishment of the branch in Northwick.
In the meantime, customers will be able to buy their usual household items from a pop-up store in the shop's car park.
A licensing application has been submitted by Co-op to allow the pop-up store to sell alcohol when it opens.
On the licensing application, a spokesperson for Co-op said: "A temporary store will be sited in the car park during the refurbishment of the main store.
"The licensable activity is the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises Monday to Saturday between 7am and 10pm and Sunday between 11am and 5pm.
"Conditions apply.
"Anyone wishing to make representations on this application may do so by May 15, 2024."
Worcester News has contacted Co-op for the date of when the store is hoping to close for the refurbishment.
