A cafe that provides support to new parents has been launched by the NCT Worcester and Droitwich branch.
The Baby Cafe offers feeding support and friendship to all new and expectant parents.
It opens its doors every Tuesday from May 7 at the Crowle Platinum Parish Hall.
The sessions will be from 10am until noon and there is no need to book in advance.
The cafe provides evidence-based, parent-centred and non-judgemental support.
Kerry Wheeler, coordinator at the NCT Worcester and Droitwich branch, said: “The free support offered by our Breastfeeding Counsellors is fantastic, it’s so important as a new parent to have reassurance and access to help with your feeding journey, and our team are here to support you, however you choose to feed your baby.
"Having a baby is an amazing experience but it can also be quite isolating.
"Coming to this group gives you a reason to get out of the house and socialise with people in your local area who can understand what you’re going through.”
The branch also offers a range of services and activities for parents including regular walks at Worcester Country Park.
