A MAN has been found to have been in possession of a Class B drug in a Worcestershire village.
Police driving through Fernhill Heath near Worcester on Sunday evening stopped and searched two males after detecting a smell of Cannabis from a passing vehicle.
The two males were stopped and searched and one was found to have possession of a Class B drug.
Both have been ordered to take part in a diversion course that is handed to people who receive a Conditional Caution or Community Resolution for an alcohol or drug related offence.
Droitwich SNT's posted on X (formally Twitter): "Nice rural drive through Fernhill Heath, when a vehicle and some persons are seen and a smell of Cannabis is lingering in the air.
"2x males stop searched and 1x found to be in possession of Class B drug.
"They'll be taking part in a diversion course as a result."
