A WOMAN is in a critical condition as the air ambulance landed on a supermarket car park in Worcester.
The Midlands Air Ambulance helicopter along with two ambulances were called to the incident in Windermere Drive in Warndon, Worcester on Sunday (April 14).
The woman was found in a critical condition and was provided advanced life support before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Eyewitnesses said a large crowd formed as the air ambulance landed on Sainsbury's supermarket car park.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a medical incident at a private address on Windermere Drive in Warndon, Worcester at 4.32pm.
"An ambulance arrived on scene in five minutes and was followed shortly after by a second ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham.
"On arrival, crews found a woman in a critical condition and provided advanced life support before she was conveyed via land ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital."
