A BMW driver was over three times the drink drive limit when they were caught near Droitwich.
Jamie Armstrong, of Balmoral Close, Fernhill Heath, had 128 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The 59-year-old was caught behind the wheel of a blue BMW x4 on the A38 Worcester Road at Rashwood, near Droitwich on Wednesday, February 7.
Armstrong was given a community order at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday (April 11) and must carry out 300 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.
Magistrates disqualified Armstrong from driving for 32 months but his early guilty plea was taken into account and his ban will be reduced by 32 weeks if he completes a course by February 28, 2026.
He must pay court costs of £135 and a victim surcharge of £114 by Friday, May 10.
