DRIVERS will be delayed after traffic lights have been placed on a road through a Worcestershire village.
Cars were seen queueing along the A442 on Kidderminster Road in Cutnall Green yesterday (Tuesday) near the Entouraj Indian restaurant at around 5pm.
There were two-way signals in place and single-file traffic in both directions.
Works in the area are being carried out by Worcestershire County Council outside The Old Post Office, Middle Cottage and Jasmine Cottage.
It relates to the installation of a vehicle dropped crossing in front of the cottages, which was granted by Wychavon District Council back in January.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council said: "The works are to install a dropped crossing outside the old Post Office and are due for completion on April 12."
