A WORCESTER bus service has alerted passengers that some of its services have been diverted due to a road closure.
Police have closed Lowesmoor Road in Worcester forcing buses to take alternative routes through the city centre.
First Bus confirmed that number 34, 35 and 38 were diverting via City Wells Road and St Martin's Gate.
The reason for the road closure is unknown.
An eyewitness said firefighters appeared to be trying to remove a broken antenna from a rooftop along Lowesmoor.
First Bus has now confirmed the number 34, 35, 38 services will resume their route with the road now re-opened.
"The road is now opened, delays expected to reduce shortly," they said.
