A driving range in Worcester has been given permission to install new lighting.
The Ravenmeadow Golf Centre in Hindlip Lane, Claines, says the lights will all be mounted at ground level, illuminating only the driving range surface itself.
They will mainly be used during the winter months, with minimal usage during the longer summer evenings.
Planning documents say permission has been granted in recent years for floodlights for hockey pitches at the adjoining Royal Porcelain Recreation Ground and for sports pitches at the County Sports Ground over the road.
