A man has been charged following the death of a woman in Malvern last year. 

Peter Burrow, aged 90, from Meadow Walk in Colwall has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal collision in Church Street, on August 8.

The incident involved a red Fiat 500 driving into six pedestrians, resulting in the death of an 80 year old woman, as well as injuring two others. 

Sergeant Liam Bennet, who led the investigation last year, said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family of the lady who has died."

He is due to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 30.
