A MAN was injured after a crash on the A46 which saw the air ambulance called to the scene.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue crews along with West Mercia Police and Midlands Air Ambulance service were in attendance.
The incident happened on Broadway Road, Evesham on Saturday, March 30.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – one each from Evesham and Worcester Fire Stations – were called at 12.55pm on 30 March to make vehicles safe after a road traffic collision in Broadway Road, Evesham.
"The incident involved two vehicles with one male casualty, who was medically trapped, assisted from his vehicle.
"The A46 was closed in both directions and crews made the vehicles safe.
"Police and air ambulance attended.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 13:41."
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We received a call around 12:50pm on Saturday with a report of a collision on the A46.
"Officers attended the incident to find two vehicles involved.
"One driver was treated for injuries by WMAS."
West Midlands Air Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
