A TREE has fallen on to a main road in Worcester.
A warning from residents on Rainbow Hill on social media was posted at around 8:20am this morning (Saturday) after a tree has fallen on to the road.
The post read: "Morning all, if anyone is going down or up Rainbow Hill there is a tree come down by the lights - it's partly in the road."
Worcester News has been out to the site and saw a large tree trunk had fallen on to part of Rainbow Hill going up towards the temporary traffic lights at the top of the hill.
A traffic light sign and a cone has been placed in front of the tree for motorists to divert around.
The traffic lights have been in place since mid-February after a landside on Reservoir Lane left a massive pile of rubble and mud across the road.
