Two men have been arrested after a woman was slashed with a 'knife'.
A woman suffered a slash wound believed to have been caused by a knife.
Two men, aged 43 and 40, have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article in a public place and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Police were called to Coronation Street just after 1pm today (March 28) following a report of an altercation between a group of people.
Gareth Morgan, West Mercia Police superintendent, said: “There will be an increase in police presence in the area while we piece together what has happened.
"I would like to thank the public for their patience and their co-operation this afternoon but would also like reassure the public that this is an isolated incident where the parties are believed to have been known to each other."
