A TEENAGER was arrested in the city centre for possession of class A drugs.
The fifteen-year-old was arrested in Foregate Street for possession of drugs but was later released as investigations continue.
Several police cars on blue lights were reported outside Foregate Street Station in Worcester on Friday (March 15).
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "At 6pm on Friday, March 15, a 15-year-old boy was arrested on Foregate Street for possession of class A drugs.
"He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue."
A witness said: "I could see three police cars and a van on Foregate Street.
"A policeman restrained what looked like a teenager on the floor. They have someone in the back of their police van too.
"I got out of there as quick as I could."
