The county council has welcomed £500,000 of funding to support unpaid carers and community resources.
Worcestershire County Council will develop initiatives after receiving £500,000 of Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) funding.
Key projects include using technology and volunteers for carer support when discharging patients from hospital.
Councillor Adrian Hardman said: "We know how demanding being a carer can be and this funding will allow us to provide another form of support".
Councillor Marcus Hart said: "We plan to use our funding to improve the help and support available to our residents."
