A popular podiatry business has put its best foot forward as it continues the legacy of decades under new ownership after the former owner retired.
Worcester Podiatry and Laser Clinic at 23 Bransford Road in St John's in Worcester hosted an open day today between 11am and 1pm to mark the new milestone.
Worcester Podiatry and Laser Clinic will now continue under new ownership after the retirement of the previous owner, Jonathan Nichols, who established what the new owners described as 'a very busy and successful practice over the past 35 years'.
Patty Cairns, 44, will now own and manage the business, along with her husband Ed Cairns, and will combine that with running several weekly clinics herself. She has been working there for two full weeks.
Mrs Cairns qualified with a first class degree in podiatry, and has gone on to work through several different podiatry roles with the NHS, as well as setting up her own private practice in WR6.
Ed Cairns said: "She will now combine the businesses to work solely from Worcester. She’s excited to have the space and infrastructure to welcome new patients to the practice and is absolutely committed to offering expert foot care solutions, using cutting edge technology and techniques, in a relaxed, professional, nurturing environment. Please call to book in www.worcesterpodiatryandlaserclinic.co.uk or call us on 01905 676120."
Prosecco, coffee and donuts were offered at today's open day.
