A scheme that helps children improve their mental health is being extended.
The city council has awarded £160,000 from its Covid reserves to Onside Advocacy, which runs the Act on It programme.
Social workers are based in Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary School and St Clements Primary School in St John’s, Worcester Sixth Form College and Heart of Worcestershire College’s Worcester campus.
Pupils who would benefit most from the service can be referred to it by staff.
A report going before Worcester City Council’s Health and Wellbeing committee says the main area of focus is supporting children and young people with anxiety.
