A large military plane was spotted flying over Worcestershire this afternoon (Thursday).
An RAF Airbus A400M Atlas took off from Brize Norton in Oxfordshire heading west over the Cotswolds before flying North over Cheltenham and then Worcestershire, over Kempsey and Dines Green.
The plane, which began its journey at 4.45pm, has continued to head north, flying over Liverpool and over the Irish Sea towards the west of Scotland.
The Airbus A400M Atlas has the ability to carry a 37-tonne payload over 2,000nm to established and remote civilian and military airfields.
It is also capable of operating at altitudes up to 40,000ft, Atlas also offers impressive low-level capability.
The aircraft replaced the role of the C-130J Hercules, a plane that was retired last year.
