A CITY pub will be given a new look and new lease of life with a full refurbishment.
The Swan Inn in Worcester on the A38 Barbourne Road will be given a new lease of life.
The Swan remains open at this time.
Admiral Taverns is looking to complete a full internal and external redecoration as well as refurbishment of the letting rooms.
An artist's impression, shared by Admiral, shows what the pub could look like when the work is completed. Images show plush leather seating and new wallpaper inside and a new dark green and white paint job on the outside.
Admiral's website said: "This is a really exciting opportunity to help re-launch a heart of the community pub.
"The Swan Inn enjoys a prominent central position on the main A38 Road into Worcester City Centre.
"The pub benefits from being close to residential streets, local businesses and schools. The pub is within easy walking distance of all local shops and amenities, the bus stop is directly opposite the pub and the train station is less than one mile away on foot."

The layout is described as a 'large open plan room on the ground floor with a central bar in front of you' with 'a pool, darts and sports area to the right hand side which also hosts a fruit machine and juke box'.
The spokesperson added: "On the left side, is a mixture of fixed and loose seating that can be utilized to watch sports on the television as well as allowing drinkers to sit or stand. To the front of the pub is some seating which doubles up as a smoking solution together with a car park that fits approximately six to eight cars.
"Admiral Taverns are looking to complete a full internal and external redecoration with the successful licensee as well as refurbishment of the letting rooms. This is a really exciting opportunity to help re-launch a heart of the community pub."
PLEASE NOTE: An earlier caption on the photograph suggested The Swan in Barbourne is closed.
However, we have been asked to point out that the pub is open as normal and continues to serve customers.
An earlier version of this story also mentioned that a licensee was being sought. While this advertisement remains on the Admiral's website, the pub has a licensee in place currently.
