POLICE attended two retail parks in Worcester to help prevent shop thefts.
Officers from the problem-solving hub attended the Elgar and Shrub Hill retail parks on Wednesday.
The purpose was to engage with retailers around any issues they experience, particularly around thefts and anti-social behaviour, as part of the Safer Business Action Week.
Crime prevention advice was offered and the use of WhatsApp group for stores to stay in contact with each other, alerting fellow retailers of any shoplifters in the area.
Shop Watch was discussed with shops said to be 'keen to get involved'.
