Woodland View care home in Droitwich is set to host a first Retirement and Leisure Fair on March 23, 2024.
The event is part of the Woodland View in the Community Initiative, connecting services and offering opportunities to individuals over 65.
The fair is sponsored by Gaudet Luce Golf and Leisure Complex and Better Together, bringing together various services, advisors, and local businesses.
Abigail Hargreaves, an area lead at Better Together, said: "We're very excited to be part of the upcoming Woodland View Retirement and Leisure Fair, which will give us the opportunity to engage with people about the companionship and concierge services that Better Together can offer the community in Worcestershire."
Carla Sidaway, the front of house manager at Woodland View, added: "The Droitwich community is rich in helpful organisations, leisure groups, and advice centres, and the goal of Woodland View's Retirement and Leisure Fair is to help older people to make these valuable connections."
She further commented: "Alongside our friends at Age UK Droitwich, we're looking forward to a day full of noteworthy conversation, budding relationships and delightful activities."
The Retirement and Leisure Fair will represent an important facet of Woodland View's community involvement and commitment to supporting the wellbeing of Droitwich's ageing population.
The fair will take place from 10am to 3pm at Woodland View care home, Woodland Way, Droitwich, WR9 7GP.
