James Dinn's 'The Archaeology of Worcester in 20 Digs' offers an intriguing overview of the city's rich historical past, from its first recorded occupation during the Iron Age to its commendable role during the Civil War and its status as a key production centre for porcelain.
The author uses a selection of archaeological finds to bring the city's past to life.
The book is set for publishing on Monday, April 15.
